“…a full nose of ripe dark raspberry and cherry fruits, with hints of violet, liquorice, thyme and savoury, spicy notes on a well-structured palate with good fruit weight.

This is a medium-bodied and deeply-coloured typical Martinborough pinot noir with lively acidity and supple tannins. With “natural winemaking” in mind, it was bottled with minimal filtration and some light deposits may occur. This wine should be matched with duck, venison, grilled meat and game dishes over the next five to six years. As a young wine, cellaring will be rewarded with greater complexity." Vineyard
